Shin Yuet is an anesthesiologist working at the Singapore General Hospital on the sunny island of Singapore. As the Director of Simulation in the SingHealth Anaesthesiology and Perioperative Sciences ACP, she leads a team of simulation educators who run simulation training programs for doctors, nurses, residents, and medical students. She introduced multidisciplinary interprofessional in situ simulation in the OR and ICU, which has contributed to improved team performance and patient safety. Her latest project involves translating simulation debriefing to clinical event debriefing. Learning the art of debriefing has helped her become a better doctor, educator, wife and mother.
