Jennifer is a Pediatric Emergency Physician, who early in her training, was searching for a "better" way to learn than just waiting for specific patients or challenges to come along. Then she discovered simulation. Over the past 15 years, she has leveraged simulation to help all members of the healthcare team learn- whether the focus is clinical care or improving our healthcare systems. She is the Associate Medical Director of Simulation at Seattle Children's Hospital, where she focuses on integrating simulation into the safety and quality structure of the organization. She thrives when she's creating, whether it's a new systems simulation, a hand crafted meal or her latest hobby- landscape painting.
