Chad is the Executive Director of the Center for Healthcare Improvement and Patient Simulation (CHIPS) at the University of Tennessee Health Science Centre where he's a Professor in the Departments of Anesthesiology and Interprofessional Education. He is a past President of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, which allowed him to share the power of simulation with a global audience. Chad was a high school teacher before medical school and it’s been with this heart of a teacher that he has approached medicine and healthcare simulation.
